We have 28 years of experience working with refugees from over 60 countries around the world, and have expertise in working with survivors of torture and political violence, as well as people who have been persecuted on the basis of their race, religion, nationality, gender identity, and sexual orientation. We offer our services in more than a dozen languages, including Arabic, Dari, Farsi, French, Jarai, Mandarin, Pashto, and Spanish, among others. All of our counsellors hold Master’s degrees in Counselling Psychology or Social Work, and are registered with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors or the British Columbia School of Social Work. Please see the “Staff” page of this site for more information.
